Unbound Ballet in the Park

Join us at Riverfront Park's Amphitheatre on August 23rd - the event starts at 6pm with live music and interactive performance beginning around 6:15 pm.

Tickets can be purchased HERE.

This will be an evening of contemporary dance featuring excerpts from fan-favorite It Never Changes to Stop and other original Unbound works.

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets, as this is an outdoor, casual performance on the lawn by the river. Afterparty will be at Coast Brewing for drinks and bites.  Looking forward to closing out the summer with you all!

The Anthology feat. Styx The Company

Join Unbound Ballet Project in welcoming Styx the Company back to South Carolina for our second annual collaborative performance! We are excited to present two original works at the newly renovated Capers Hall in downtown Charleston.

Styx will be performing The Teller, written and directed by Brianna Campbell. The Teller is an interactive, immersive contemporary show that will transport you to a mysterious, time-altering world. The Teller will play around with the sequencing of events and characters you meet along the way to change the outcomes of the future. This show is like no other. 

Unbound Ballet Project will present a premiere ballet by founding director Crystal Wellman, exploring moving past betrayal and finding one's feet after life's unwelcome surprises. We will also be welcoming guest artists from around the country to share the stage with us in this special evening of dance.

You’ll have two chances to see our show: July 19, 2024 at 5pm and again at 7:30pm.

Fundraiser 2024 @ Bevi Bene Brewing Company

Join Unbound Ballet Project, Charleston's Professional Contemporary Ballet Company, at Bevi Bene Brewing on April 13th from 5-7pm for an unforgettable afternoon!

This is a family friendly event with art and dance activities provided for the kids.

Enjoy music from DJ Blacksmith, live paintings, bites from One Oak BBQ, Bevi Bene's brews and company member Amanda Lane Evans' new work, performed live by the Unbound dancers.

Tickets are $15 and all proceeds go to funding Unbound Ballet Project’s summer season. Bring the whole family and come support the arts in Charleston!

A continued collaborative moving work of art between Unbound and Jenifer Padilla. UNFOLDING is Padilla’s solo show at gallery 1056 at Redux Contemporary Art Center opening Friday March 31st 5pm to 8pm. Unbound dancers will perform during the show starting at 6pm.

Redux's 2022 Annual Auction

Unbound Ballet Project will be performing at Redux’s Annual Auction on Saturday, November 19th starting at 6:30 PM. For this event, we are collaborating with a few local artists to create dance installations through various mediums, ranging from paintings to projections. Unbound Ballet Project will finish the evening with a brand new work by Artistic Director, Crystal Wellman.
